Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals

Baptisms

Here at St Andrew’s we want to welcome all people who are baptised in Church into the congregation and so, whenever possible, we like to have baptisms as part of our morning service at 10.00 on a Sunday.

There is no charge for a Baptism Service and we baptise people of all ages, genders and orientations.

Please contact the Rector as soon as possible to organise a Baptism Service

Weddings

Weddings should be booked as much in advance as possible. Your wedding day is incredibly important to you and to us, so early planning is essential.

Don’t worry though if you have left it a bit late, we will do all we can to help you.

Funerals

Many people like to hold funerals in church even if they, or those who have died, have not always been church goers.

Your undertaker will advise you as to how it can easily be arranged for the service to be held in St Andrew’s either prior to, or after, a short service at the Crematorium.

If you prefer we will, of course, be happy to conduct the complete service at the Crematorium.
