Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals
We believe that baptism is a sacrament for everyone.
At St Andrew’s we usually perform baptisms as part of our Sunday Morning Eucharist.
Baptism is a joy and can be a time of growth on the journey of life. Whether you are a child or an adult we would be delighted to play a part in that journey.
If you wish to discuss baptism please contact us via the Contacts Page.
Your wedding should be a wonderful event. St Andrew’s is a beautiful church, and we will do all that we can to make your day really special.
We have a fully inclusive wedding policy and would welcome you to come and talk with us so we can explore together the elements of a Service that will be a unique, memorable and spiritual experience.
It is important that before you book your reception we have a discussion to ensure that the church is available on your chosen date.
In the rare instance where it is not possible for your marriage to take place in St Andrew’s we will always be happy to discuss a Service of Blessing. Please contact us to discuss your special day more fully via our Contacts Page.
The death of any person is a sad and emotional time for those left behind.
At St Andrew’s our aim is to walk with you through the dark days, working closely with the undertaker to ensure that the funeral service is dignified, spiritual and reflects the person we are remembering while caring for those who remain.
Funerals can take place in Church, at a Crematorium, Graveyard or Burial Site.
We will support you both emotionally and prayerfully and guide you as you plan and prepare for the funeral service.
Please contact us via our Contacts Page to ensure we are available on the date you choose for the Service or ask the undertaker to be in touch with us.
